2021 was a helpful year somewhat for impact, they drew their biggest drawing PPV since the peak days back in 06-07, they would finally get fans back, and they had a working deal with the second-largest wrestling promotion in America – AEW, this show was the first show under that agreement. Let’s take a look at where each of these people is now, from the class of Hard to Kill 2021

(Decay) Rosemary and Crazy Steve vs Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb [with a K]

Rosemary and Crazzy Steve are still featured on Impact, Rosemary had recently won the Knockouts tag team championships with Havok until they lost the titles to The IInspiration at Bound For Glory. Crazzy Steve appears on Tv but hasn’t won any major titles in this current run though he did wrestle to be the first-ever digital media championship, which was eventually won by Jordynne Grace.

Tenille within the past year has been featured on tv, eventually challenging Then Knockouts Champion Deonna Purazzo, to an unsuccessful attempt at winning.

Kaleb is generally used as fodder, acting as a manager for Tenille, Though recently did get into a very fun match, against Minoru Suzuki, that went about the way can expect.

Violent by Design (Eric Young, Deaner and Joe Doering) vs Cousin Jake, Rhino and Tommy Dreamer

Violent by design is still going, eventually, Rhino turned heel and invoked his call your shot gauntlet, to allow him and Joe Doering to win the tag titles, Rhino’s tenure didn’t last long, neither did their tag title reign, eventually dropping the belts to The good brothers.

Cousin Jake spent a portion of the year feuding with VBD, mainly his former partner Deaner, the rest of the year, he would be on TV here and there. Though hasn’t won anything major while with the company.

Rhino did join VBD as mentioned earlier, however after losing the titles, then failing in the rematch, he was eventually kicked out of the group by the other members, he then feuded with them, teaming back up with Heath to continue feuding with them.

Tommy Dreamer is a man of recent controversy, his recent comments during an interview on the “Plane Ride from Hell” episode of Dark Side of the Ring, that caused him to be suspended from IMPACT for a period. He hasn’t been on tv due to this.

Fire n Flava (Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan) vs Havok and Navaeh
    Knockouts Tag Title Tournament

Fire n Flava won these titles twice in their career, losing the first to Jordynne grace and Rachael Ellering, then winning them back in a rematch, before losing them to Decay (Havok and Rosemary) after this Tasha Steelz would betray Hogan by not stopping hogan from being attacked. Hogan would then subsequently leave the promotion and now frequently wrestlers on the indies and AEW Dark. Tasha is still wrestling on IMPACT and BTI at the time of writing, also wrestling on the indies as well.

Havok is still part of Decay, they did take the titles off Fire n Flava but did lose the titles as mentioned earlier to The Iinspiration.

Navaeh left Impact in April of 2021 and has only made a handful of appearances, including wrestling once on a taping of AEW Dark in a losing effort to Hikaru Shida, her last known wrestling appearance was wrestling for SHIMMER at volume 119, winning the HEART OF SHIMMER Title from Hyan. Then defending the title at volume 120 against Davienne.

    Matt Cardona vs Ace Austin

Matt Cardona has created a self-imposed super heel persona on the deathmatch scene… Yes, Cardona has been having a great time wrestling at GCW affiliated shows in glass tube barbed wire, pizza cutter deathmatches, including winning the GCW Title from Nick Gage to tremendous heat. He would lose the title to Jon Moxley, but he is still wrestling in the scene unless his quitting GCW is for real. Also, he still wrestles for IMPACT as well as recently appearing on an episode of NWA.

Ace Austin has been elevated to the position of being a champion contender, he beat “Manik” at Sacrifice to win the X-division title but subsequently lost the title to Josh Alexander at Rebellion. He then recently earned a shot against IMPACT world champion Christian Cage at Victory Road, which he was unsuccessful in winning, but does still get featured on Impact tv quite regularly.

Manik (TJP) (c) vs Chris Bey vs Rohit Raju
    X-Division title

TJP did lose the title as mentioned in the Ace Austin bit, he also left the promotion in October, but has since been wrestling very regularly for MLW and New Japan Strong, including joining Will Ospreays faction “The United Empire.”

Chris Bey has been featured as a new member of the bullet club under leader Jay white but hasn’t won any major championships in impact, in 2021 which is a shame. He has also been making appearances for NJPW Strong, recently winning a tag match with Hikuleo against Jordan Clearwater and Keita Murray.

Rohit has been featured on tv but hasn’t been doing much in the company, very recently Rohit announced his departure from the company. Let’s see where Rohit chooses to go.

Deonna Purazzo (c) vs Taya Valkyrie
Hard to Kill 2021 | Knockouts Title match

Deonna has been the MVP of IMPACT carrying the title and subsequently the company for most of the year, only recently losing the title to a returning Mickie James at Bound for Glory 2021, she is now having her rematch in a Texas death match this year Hard to Kill.

Taya left IMPACT shortly after this and started wrestling in NXT including challenging for the NXT women’s title against Raquel. However her tenure was short-lived as she would be released along with numerous others on November 4th, but she would make her return to AAA at Regia 2, challenging Deonna for the Reina de Reinas championship.

    Karate Man vs Ethan Page

Ethan pages last match, he would then appear at AEW Revolution and has since joined up with Dan Lambert and Scorpio sky to from Men of the Year (with Sky, lamberts just a manager). Karate man has a really strong resemblance to Ethan…

Hard to Kill 2021 | Eddie Edwards vs Sami Callihan

Eddie Edwards still features regularly on Impact television, recently challenging Moose for the Impact world title in a losing effort.

Sami Callihan Still wrestles for Impact as well, challenging Kenny Omega for the IMPACT title at 2021’s Slammiversary in a losing effort, however in September he broke his ankle and has been out of action since then.

Hard to Kill 2021 Main Event
Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers vs Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Moose

Kenny Omega beat Swann at Rebellion to win the Impact title, he then would regularly defend that title at Impacts PPV’s before losing the title to Christian Cage at the first AEW Rampage show, He then lost the AEW World title to Hangman Page in a classic match at Full Gear, since then he’s taken time off to heal several nagging injuries, but could be back soon.

The Good Brothers, have been the focal point of the IMPACTS Tag Team division, though they did lose the titles to finJuice, only winning the titles at Slammiversary 2021 against 3 other teams, since then they have defended against other opponents including their old faction buddies the bullet club.

Rich Swann, after losing his title to omega, went after the tag titles teaming up with Willie Mack to chase the good brothers, then he would enter the call your shot battle royal at bound for glory but was unsuccessful.

Chris Sabin has been regularly wrestling on Impact television alongside occasionally wrestling in the independent scene.

Moose spent a portion of the year feuding with Kenny omega over the title they wrestled at Daily’s place, which Omega won, after that, he teamed up with W. Morrisey to feud against Eddie Edwards.  He would then win the call your shot gauntlet title, which he cashed in on Josh Alexander to win the IMPACT World Title at the same show. Long may the Moose Reign.
