British company to cease event promotion after fifteen years.

International Pro Wrestling United Kingdom has announced that they will no longer be holding live wrestling events at the end of 2019.

In a statement on their Facebook page, they cite “many changes in the British wrestling climate in the last 2 years” leading to this decision.

They do state that this is not the end of IPW and “will continue to be promoted and celebrated into the future, with more information on this to be announced soon.”

The final IPW World Championship will be defending for the last time on December 15th at their Undisputed III event in Mote Hall in Maidstone.

They also said that there will be an announcement made at Unit Nine in Milton Keynes on December 4th regarding the future of wrestling in the venue going into 2020.

IPW:UK was one of the premier promotions in the UK since it’s inception in 2004. It has recently gone under a spate of management changes, and a failed merger with fellow promotion IWL.
