WWE & TNA legend Kurt Angle announced that he intends on taking some time off from wrestling, and won’t be extending his stay at TNA when his contract expires in January.

    “I’m going to take a break, and not going to re-sign with TNA. I’m not going to try to go to WWE either” said Kurt, on Mark Madden’s Radio Show (105.9; The X Radio).

    Kurt hasn’t wrestled since a tumor in his neck begin giving him issues (reported here), Kurt mentioned during the interview that he feels “Almost 100%”, and that he is expecting to be in the ring for TNA Bound for Glory on October 4th.

    While on the subject of WWE, Kurt said “Anything is possible” but reiterated that he will be taking time away from the sport in 2016, isn’t desperate and could just retire.

    Kurt has been with TNA for the past 9 years, beating his tenure of 8 years in the WWE, and has been involved in both promotions’ evolution since his debut
