The wrestling world has been stunned by the tragic news today that Scottish wrestler Lionheart has sadly passed away at the age of 36.
Lionheart, real name Adrian McCallum, was the current ICW & UEWA Heavyweight Champion, as well as the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Champion. He had previously been PCW Heavyweight Champion on three separate occasions.
McCallum had also challenged for the ROH World Championship in 2008 against Nigel McGuinness, as well as competing for TNA and WWE in house shows and dark matches. Lionheart’s name was heard around the world back in 2014 after a match with AJ Styles went wrong and he broke his neck after taking a Styles Clash.
Doctors said he may never walk again, but just under a year later he was back competing and doing what he loved.
TWM News UK would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
