Just heard from the TNA legal department concerning EC3's injunction against me. The first court date is months away. This isn't good news.

Sometimes leaders have to make personal sacrifices for the greater good. EC3 has put myself, Jeff, TNA & TNA fans in a terrible position.

Matt won the Championship at Bound for Glory on Sunday, after the odds were stacked against Ethan Carter. TNA started the storyline on Monday, when EC3 filed an injunction against the outcome of the match through legal means to prevent Matt from appearing on TNA TV as the Champion.
On Tuesday, Hardy decided to surender the title to make the injunction go away and ensure that TNA has a champion.
