Former Pro Football Player and Raw Superstar signs on to remain with WWE.
Pro Wrestling Sheet are reporting that Mojo Rawley has signed a new multi-year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.
There is no word yet on how long the deal may be, but WWE have been signing many talents to five-year contracts as of late so you would assume this would also be the case.
Rawley, real name Dean Muhtadi, signed with WWE in 2012 debuting on the NXT brand. He made his name teaming with Zack Ryder as The Hype Bros before being called up to keep the team going on SmackDown Live in the 2016 WWE Draft.
Rawley won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2017, eliminating Jinder Mahal with help from Rob Gronkowski. However, as Mahal went on to win the WWE Title, Rawley floundered on SmackDown, not really being used in any capacity until Zack Ryder returned for a brief reuniting of the team.
Rawley turned heel on Ryder later that year and they feuded until Mojo was moved to Raw in the 2018 Superstar Shakeup. He has done little of note since then, except a change in character this year where he’s wearing “war paint” on his face.
