Noam Dar is set to make a cross-UK trip on his last night on the scene as the Cruiserweight Classic star heads Stateside for RAW.
Israeli-born British wrestling star Noam Dar has announced his last appearances on the UK independent scene, where he will wrestle in Preston and then make a trip up to Scotland just days after his WWE debut in on RAW’s new Cruiserweight Division on September 19.
The kicker, is that both those shows take place on the same night!
Noam Dar will first wrestle for Preston City Wrestling at their “Dar Wars: The End of an Era” event on Saturday, 24 September before making the journey straight up to Ayr, Scotland to perform for Pro Wrestling Elite at their “May the Force be With You” show for his last UK appearance.
In a statement on their Facebook page, Pro Wrestling Elite said:
“Our good friends at PCW are running an event on the exact same date. As you may well be aware, Noam is currently the reigning champion of both Pro Wrestling Elite and PCW. We were approached by PCW and asked if we could work something out to allow Noam to appear in Preston, and also appear in Ayr.
The statement continues:
“PCW have happily agreed to start their show early in order to give Noam sufficient time to travel up, and we are confident given the timings that this should present no issue.”
Noam Dar is currently competing in the WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic where he is through to the Quarter-Finals. A potential “Battle of Britain” match awaits if Zack Sabre, Jr defeats Drew Gulak in his second round match.
Heralded as a “young veteran” the 23-year-old made his professional debut at the age of 15. Noam has made regular appearances in the biggest promotions in the UK including PCW, PROGRESS, ICW, RevPro and Pro Wrestling Elite. In 2014, Dar participated in TNA’s “British Bootcamp 2” competition, which was eventually won by Mark Andrews.
Tickets for Noam’s final appearances in the UK in both Preston and Ayr are selling very quickly. For more information, visit the respective pages of Pro Wrestling Elite and Preston City Wrestling at:
