Gallus and Imperium head to the negotiation table, but will their be resolution or conflict?
Toni Storm defeated Killer Kelly via pinfall
We all knew who was going to win this. Toni Storm withstood a barrage from Killer Kelly to see her off with the Storm Zero.
Post-match, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray attacked Storm, only for Piper Niven to make the save. Niven offered her hand to Toni, who walked off.
In an interview, South Wales SubCulture spoke about the Grizzled Young Veterans and Gallus and ask NXT UK General Manager for another shot at the NXT UK Tag Team Titles at TakeOver Blackpool.
We see during the break that Toni Storm and Piper Niven argue in the back. Storm says she doesn’t need Niven, she just needs the title.
The Hunt (Primate & Wild Boar) defeated The Outliers (Dorian Mak & Riddick Moss) via pinfall
The wild tandem saw off the physically impressive duo from NXT US after Wild Boar withstood a brutal assault from Mak and Moss to tag in Primate, who ran wild. The Hunt picked up the win with a double headbutt from the top rope.
Jordan Devlin defeated A-Kid via pinfall
This match was a phenomenal sprint, ten minutes of non-stop action. These two went back and forth, Devlin working the leg of A-Kid and the Spanish superstar counteracting that with impact offence, such as an unreal moonsault DDT from the top rope. A-Kid had some hope until Devlin punted him right in the face and hit the Devlin Side, as Tyler Bate looked on.
Jinny cuts a promo about Piper Niven beating her. She says that loss and Jazzy Gabert being ejected was disrespectful. She insists everything between them two are fine, but things don’t seem too rosy.
Joseph Conners defeated Travis Banks and Ligero via pinfall
Conners managed to use the athletic rivalry between Banks and Ligero against them to sneak away with a win. Conners was neutralised early on by Ligero and ‘The Kiwi Buzzsaw’ but used his wrestling nouse to keep himself in it. All three men gave their all, hitting their big moves but it would be Conners, sending Banks into Ligero and dropping Travis with the Don’t Look Down to pick up the win.
Kassius Ohno cuts a promo about his match with Tyler Bate, saying Bate made him lose his cool and lose sight that he is here to wrestle the European style. He vows to not use any more boots and elbows but will stick to traditional British wrestling moves.
We then have a summit between Gallus member Joe Coffey and WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER. Coffey says that the boys in Imperium will get hurt by the Gallus ‘firm’. Joe Coffey wants a shot at the United Kingdom Championship, but WALTER wants something in return; Wolfgang to defend their Tag Team Titles against Imperium and have Ilja Dragunov face Alexander Wolfe in a no disqualification. Coffey cannot negotiate over something he has no control over (Ilja) but Dragunov interrupts. Ilja demands the agreement is made, and Coffey vs WALTER is confirmed for TakeOver Blackpool.
WALTER calls back Dragunov, who is grabbed by Alexander Wolfe and jumped by Imperium. Ilja is put through the table by Wolfe and Imperium stand tall to close the show.
