NXT UK Superstars Flash Morgan Webster and “Wild Boar” Mike Hitchman buy the promotion
Almost as if it was something out of a Christmas movie, Pro Wrestling Chaos was saved from extinction earlier tonight.
At the conclusion of one of their final shows ‘The Nakatomi Kings Oak Plaza Festive Incident’, Flash Morgan Webster and “Wild Boar” Mike Hitchman came out to the ring and made the announcement that they would be purchasing the company from its current owners.
This means that Chaos, set to close at in February of 2020, will now continue to run under the new management.
In a statement made on Twitter, Flash Morgan Webster said that without Chaos he and many others “wouldn’t have been nowhere near ready for the opportunities they were fortunate enough to receive over the last few years.” He went on to say that they bought the company to “continue to give loyal fans a promotion to call home while ensuring British wrestlers have a platform that has been crucial to their development so they can learn, grow and flourish.”
Pro Wrestling Chaos owners Dave, Nick and Rob had previously announced that the promotion was set to close due to “pressures of their regular job and the rising prices of the scene”. They will still be running the final shows leading up to the handover in early 2020.
Pro Wrestling Chaos was home to many current NXT UK superstars like Flash Morgan Webster, Wild Boar, Eddie Dennis and up-and-coming talents like Beano, Dani Luna and Danny Jones.
