Roman Reigns will not be competing at this year’s Wrestlemania, we have learned.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Reigns did not feel comfortable wrestling at the Showcase of the Immortals, and WWE have respected his request.

The Big Dog, who returned last Feburary after a fight with leukemia, is immunocompromised and did not want to risk his health. He was due to face Goldberg for the Universal title he dropped when he left to begin his treatment, and will be replaced.

Amid the backdrop of global events, WWE have billed the 36th edition of their flagship show as “too big for one night”, and will pre-tape much of the event before it airs on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of April at the Performance Centre.

TWM will bring you more on this topic as soon as we learn it.
