WWE HELD THEIR FIRST BIG EVENT POST-WRESTLEMANIA WITH TITLE CHANGES AND TWO MEN BATTLING IN ‘THE HOUSE OF HORRORS’.
In the main event, Braun Strowman beat a battered and bruised Roman Reigns following a running powerslam. Post-match, Braun continued to beat down Roman, hitting him with the steel stairs until ‘The Big Dog’ suffered internal bleeding. Then, as the show closed with Roman struggled to the back to be loaded into an ambulance, Strowman tried to attack again only to run into the ambulance door and be run off. It appears this is far from over.
In the much talked-about ‘House Of Horrors’ match, Bray Wyatt toppled Randy Orton in a bizarre match which had Pagan symbols, tortured baby dolls and a fridge which was thrown onto Orton, allowing Wyatt to leave to head to the arena. However, Orton somhow made it back at the same time as ‘The Eater of Worlds’ and the fight continued in the ring. Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers then appeared and hit Orton twice with his WWE Title which allowed Wyatt to hit Randy with Sister Abigail for the win.
We also had two new champions, as Chris Jericho shockingly beat Kevin Owens for the United States Championship, moving him to SmackDown Live in the process. Alexa Bliss also captured the WWE Raw Womens Title besting home-town hero Bayley with a vicious DDT.
The WWE Cruiserweight Title stayed with Neville however, as he stole the win from Austin Aries, getting himself disqualified after putting his hands on the official. The WWE Raw Tag Team Titles remain with The Hardy Boys too, as they beat Sheamus and Cesaro, However, post-match ‘SheSaro’ attacked the champions, leaving them laying in the middle of the ring.
Also, Seth Rollins managed to beat Samoa Joe, rolling him up as he was locked in the Kokina Clutch. Finally, the pre-show saw Enzo and Cass topple The Club duo of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
