World Wrestling Entertaiment have come to terms on the release of Big Cass.

    The news has come as a shock to many as Cass, real name William Morrissey, was just in the middle of big angle on SmackDown Live with Daniel Bryan. He wrestled at this weekends Money In The Bank pay-per-view, losing for the second consecutive event by submission to the former WWE Champion.

    Cass signed with WWE’s developmental Florida Championship Wrestling in 2011 and then moved on to NXT. He found huge success with Enzo Amore, who alongside them and Carmella, became of the promotions most popular acts. They came close to winning the NXT Tag Team Titles on multiple occasions before getting the call-up to Raw the night after WrestleMania 32. The following year, Cass turned heel on his tag team partner and fueded with him and The Big Show before tearing his ACL in a Brooklyn Street Fight leaving him out of action for eight months.

    He returned in 2018 on SmackDown Live and feuded with Daniel Bryan until his release.
