Full Gear 2023; Texas Death Match:
“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland

“Hangman” Adam Page wasted no time and gave up making his entrance to attack Swerve Strickland for betrayal. After a Buckshot Lariat, Page handcuffed Strickland using duct tape and stapled his skin in several areas, creating truly chilling moments.

Meanwhile, Prince Nana freed Swerve Strickland, who used barbed wire to damage Adam Page before giving him a Death Valley Driver on top of a cement block and a Piledriver on top of the protective barrier.
Not even after suffering a Tombstone Piledriver on top of a chair wrapped in barbed wire was Strickland defeated. However, Adam Page also survived a Powerbomb followed by a Double Stomp on the chair wrapped in barbed wire.

Not satisfied, Strickland took glasses to the ring, placed them on Adam Page’s back and then applied a 450 Splash, followed by a JML Driver. But that wasn’t enough to keep “Hangman” on the mat.
In response, Adam Page applied a Super Fallaway Slam, a Powerbomb, a Dead Eye and on top of a board wrapped in barbed wire and a Buckshot Lariat to Strickland’s head wrapped in barbed wire. However, Prince Nana helped Strickland to his feet and soon afterwards Brian Cage brutally attacked Adam Page.

Adam Page even managed to get rid of Brian Cage and Prince Nana, but Strickland gained time to hit Page with a cement block. After that, Strickland used a chain to suffocate Page next to one of the ring posts, managing to cause the damage he needed to achieve victory.

    Winner : Swerve Strickland
    Rating : 10/10

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho)

If The Golden Jets were to win, they would receive an opportunity that belongs to The Young Bucks to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championship; but if The Young Bucks were to win, the members of The Golden Jets would have to disband

A match that perhaps wouldn’t have been entertaining like other Young Bucks matches , but it had storytelling, with Kenny Omega protecting Matt Jackson from a punch from Chris Jericho and with the Young Bucks doing everything they could to injure the arm with which Jericho usually applies the Judas Effect . The Young Bucks ‘ teamwork gave them some advantage, despite facing two individuals like Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.

At one point, Nick Jackson performed a low blow on Jericho . Omega questioned the need for this cheating move, but ended up suffering a low blow from Matt Jackson, who then performed a Judas Effect . Shortly afterwards, the Young Bucks applied a BTE Trigger to Jericho , but he managed to kick out .

After applying some of his main blows, Kenny Omega tried to apply the One Winged Angel , but ended up suffering the blow he made famous at the hands of Matt Jackson. At the culmination of a chaotic final stretch of combat, Omega achieved victory after a V Trigger and a One Winged Angel on Matt Jackson.

Winners : The Golden Jets (Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho )
    Rating : 9.5/10

    Full Gear 2023 Main Event
AEW World Championship : MJF (c) vs. Jay White

MJF was about to be replaced by Adam Cole and was very limited, but he fought. Jay White also had help from the Gunns outside the ring, but the referee ended up expelling them from that area. The fight was largely based on Jay White dominating and punishing MJF’s injured left leg and MJF fighting back in desperation. At one point, Jay White applied a Figure Four Leg Lock to MJF, who refused to give up. While watching everything, Adam Cole even considered throwing the towel – in this case MJF’s shirt – on the floor, but MJF forbade him.

Shortly after, Adam Cole considered hitting Jay White with the ROH tag team championship belt, but White grabbed the belt and hit MJF without the referee seeing it. In the settlement that followed, MJF kicked out at the last hundredth of a second.

At a time when the referee was down, Adam Cole tried to pass the diamond ring to MJF, but it was Jay White who caught it. White tried to hit MJF, but MJF gave him a low blow, then took possession of the diamond ring and hit White, achieving the triumph in the settlement that followed.

    Winner : MJF
    Rating : 9.5/10
