British Wrestling promotion Tidal Championship Wrestling has announced it will return in January, 2021.
In a lengthy Facebook post, the Leeds-based promotion said: “It has been decided that we will be cancelling all shows this year and hitting re-start in Jan 2021. Things are just too messy out there, the threat of Covid is still a lot stronger than expected and we know a lot of you are still uncomfortable about coming back and a number of the wrestlers feel the same. Your safety and well-being is paramount so as much as frustrating as it may be we’re gonna stay home this year.”
They added that they have dates and venues “confirmed” for next year, which will be announced in due course.
Tidal launched in 2013, and counts Adam Cole, Colt Cabana and Dave Mastiff among its luminaries.
