In a surprising announcement this evening, WWE has announced that Bruce Prichard will become the lead creative writer for both Raw and SmackDown.
The move comes just shy of a year since Eric Bishoff and Paul Heyman took new executive roles within the company and were put in charge of Raw & SmackDown respectively (Click Here). Eric was removed from SmackDown and replaced with Bruce Prichard last October and at the time it was said that Eric was put in place due to his relationship with FOX TV at the time.
There are no further details in relation to why this has happened, but some reports have pointed towards the declining RAW ratings as of late during the pandemic.
