Longtime CMLL owner Francisco Alonso Lutteroth has passed away aged 67.
Lutteroth’s passing was announced by CMLL’S social media accounts. He reportedly died on July 6th.
Francisco Alonso Lutteroth, commonly known as Paco Alonso, was the grandson of CMLL’s founder Salvador Lutteroth. He began working in CMLL in 1975 and took control of the company in 1987. Under his control in 1991 was when the original name EMLL was changed to CMLL.
Francisco’s daughter Sofía Alonso is currently the Commercial Director of the CMLL.
