Daniel Bryan today announced that on Monday Night Raw he will address the WWE Universe and retire from the ring.
Bryan has been injured and unable to wrestle since he won the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 31 and surrendered his title on Raw. WWE doctors will not clear him since he suffered a concussion.
Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude
