Several sources are claiming Dasha Fuentes has been released by WWE.
The reason for her release is unclear and seemingly out of nowhere, seeing as Dasha was in New York City for WrestleMania Weekend.
Dasha joined WWE’s developmental system in 2014 as a wrestler, but became a member of the NXT broadcast team a year later after she suffered an ACL injury. She had been appearing as a backstage interviewer for SmackDown Live and 205 Live.
Fuentes has not made an official statement, but she did post on instagram that “it’s been an interesting couple of days” before saying she’s going on a non-work related trip.
