TMZ has reported that Jimmy Uso has been arrested following a confrontation with police offers.
Jimmy is one half of WWE tag team the Uso’s and husband of WWE star Naomi.
According to TMZ, Jimmy and Naomi were driving in Detroit and it was Naomi who was driving. The car apparently was pulled over for driving the wrong way down a one-way street. Upon being pulled over the police claim the car smelled of booze and the officer asked Naomi to step out of the vehicle. At this point, Jimmy left the car, removed his jacket and shirt and squared up to the officer. In response, the officer drew their taser in self-defense. Jimmy settled down at the sight of the taser and was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction.
Jimmy later posted bail and left custody. However there very well may be repercussions down the line as a result.
Jimmy and brother Jay are set to challenge Shane McMahon and the Miz this weekend at WWE Elimination Chamber for the SmackDown Tag Titles.
