On February 4, 2021, Impact Wrestling announced that they will be debuting the triple threat revolver match. This match will be at No Surrender, available on the impact plus app. The match will determine the number one contender for the X division title.
The X division title will be defended by TJP. He will face Rohit at No Surrender.
