One of British independent wrestling’s most recognisable faces, sadly the Riptide Rumble winner will be out for an undisclosed amount of time.
Jack Sexsmith announced on twitter that during DEFIANT Wrestling’s ‘No Regrets 2019’ event, he suffered a knee injury that will keep him away from the ring.
In a tweet, he has stated that whilst he is waiting for results on a scan, he says that “immediate assessments indicate I have torn my ACL”. If Sexsmith has indeed suffered a torn ACL, then he would more than likely be out for around 9 months.
This has come at a horrible time for Jack as he has an upcoming match against Spike Trivet at Riptide with a Brighton Championship title shot on the line, as well as being the current Wrestling Resurgence champion.
