Jim Cornette Makes Controversial Comments About Sonny Kiss

Jim Cornette has caused another issue online after comments made on his podcast regarding All Elite Wrestling talent Sonny Kiss.

On Episode 285 of ‘The Jim Cornette Experience’, Cornette reviews the ‘Casino Battle Royale’ from last weeks Double Or Nothing event. in his tirade, he made the following remarks about Sonny Kiss.

“Then here comes Sonny Kiss who apparently got off his day job at the drag-show at the f**king Tropicana. They’re not explaining any of this. The transvestite or exotico as they would say at AAA.”

This caused uproar on social media, with several All Elite Wrestling talent such as Kip Sabian and Luchasaurus airing their views.

Jim Cornette can hate on Dinosaurs in wrestling all he wants, I’ve dealt with it for 65 million years. But I have zero tolerance when it comes to hate on the self expression of my talented friend @SonnyKissXO. There is no place for homophobia or any of Jim’s antiquated views.

Long-time adversary Joey Ryan also chimed in on the situation, calling for BeIn Sports and MLW (where Cornette is currently working as a colour commentator) to fire the wrestling personality.

Jim Cornette then took to Twitter himself to clarify his comments, stating that ” If one of them is gay, I have no problem with that, I DO have a problem with silly phony wrestling that embarrasses my profession.” before predictably hurling a torrent of abuse towards Joey Ryan and several other talents that appeared in the battle royal.

Apparently @JoeyRyanOnline 's REAL problem is I was knocking outlaw, fake comedy play-rasslers of which he is leader of the shitty pack. If one of them is gay, I have no problem with that, I DO have a problem with silly phony wrestling that embarrasses my profession–like Ryan.
