Japanese legend retired at the beginning of this year
As reported by Tokyo Sports, Legendary Japanese performer Jushin Thunder Liger is set to be immortalized as the latest inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame.
Liger recently ended his in-ring career at this years NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, thus putting a stop to a storied career that saw him wrestle in all four corners of the earth.
Liger is an 11-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, a 6-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and a winner of the coveted J-Crown, meaning he is technically a former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.

He is also a three-time Best of The Super Juniors, a former GHC Junior Heavyweight and Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and a WCW Light Heavyweight Champion.
He has also made an appearance for WWE, defeating Tyler Breeze at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn but also wrestled at a WWE event co-promoted with New Japan and All Japan, in which he defeated Akira Nogami. He has also wrestled for TNA, ROH and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame will take place on April 2nd, 2020 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
