Kacy Catanzaro and WWE have parted ways, TWM has learned.
Catanzaro signed for NXT back in January 2018, and made her debut last April, losing to Reina Gonzalez.
She is best known for her time in NXT, along with competing in the Mae Young Classic. In the MYC, she avenged her loss against Gonzalez, but ended up losing in the second round to Rhea Ripley. She also appeared in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
While in NXT, Catanzaro obtained a serious back injury, and it looks like her time in the squared circle is over as a result of this.
Her last match in NXT was a loss to Io Shirai.
