Two WWE superstars have already made their intentions that they will not perform at the Super Showdown event in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier today, Fightful reported that following SmackDown Live, Kevin Owens told WWE brass that he did not want to travel to Saudi Arabia for the event. This was followed by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio revealing that Bryan has once again declined going to the show.

No reason has been given, but Owens’ long-time friend and tag team partner Sami Zayn has refused to appear on these shows due to Saudi Arabia’s strained relationship with Syria.

WWE have had issues similar to this before due to their controversial deal with Saudi Arabia with John Cena, the aforementioned Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns all expressing their unwillingness to perform there, however Roman Reigns has seemingly changed his mind this time around.

Owens and Bryan has worked in Saudi Arabia before, performing at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
