After a series of shoulder injuries, British wrestler Kid Lykos has been forced to announce his retirement at the age of just 22.
At Attack Pro Wrestling’s ‘Wednesday Night Wristlocks’, Lykos made the announcement that he will have to step away from the ring.
He re-injured the shoulder at Riptide Wrestling’s ‘Riptide Rumble’ during a three-way tag match. He walked out mid-match, clutching his arm and never returned. Many hoped it would be just a minor twinge but alas, his career inside the ring is over.
In his all too short career, Kid Lykos found a lot of success, winning numerous tag team titles with his partner Chris Brookes. They were former Attack Pro, CZW, PROGRESS, Attack Pro and Fight Club Pro Tag Team Champions and we’re highly regarded as one of the best tag teams in the worldwide independent wrestling scene.
TWM wish Kid Lykos all the best.
Thank you Lykos.
