Mickie James will likely be out of action for the rest of the calendar year.
She injured her knee in a match with Carmella at a house show in Waco, Texas. It wasn’t known to what extent of injury James had suffered, but this was later confirmed to be an ACL injury, which usually takes around six to nine months to heal.
James broke the news herself on Instagram Live yesterday afternoon and stated she didn’t know when the surgery would be happening, but that it was all confirmed to be her worst fears on Monday when she had an MRI scan.
James hasn’t been seen on television since her move to SmackDown Live in the Superstar Shake-Up.
