New Japan’s first major show in the United Kingdom to feature some marquee match-ups.
New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the card for Royal Quest at the Copper Box in London, England. This show will feature a number of high profile contests, as a result of the fall-out from the G1 Climax 29 finals.
After pinning the champion in tag team action, Minoru Suzuki will get the next shot at Kazuchika Okada’s IWGP title. Zack Sabre Jr will face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the British Heavyweight Championship and after his shocking defection to the Bullet Club, KENTA will face an angry Tomohiro Ishii, with Ishii’s NEVER Openweight Championship on the line.
In addition, The Guerillas of Destiny will also be defending their IWGP Tag Team titles against the winners of Revolution Pro’s Royal Quest Tag Team tournament, which concludes on August 30 at Summer Sizzler.
