Sixteen-Time World Champion “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was rushed to hospital on Thursday morning.
TMZ reports that Ric Flair (70) was rushed to a hospital in the Atlanta area Thursday morning after suffering a medical emergency.
TMZ stated that the medical situation was “very serious”, but Conrad Thompson announced on a Starrcast conference call that the Ric Flair situation “is not as grave or serious”, and says that this was a planned procedure that Ric Flair wanted to have before Las Vegas.
Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow issued a statement to this this evening. Barlow says The Nature Boy is expected to make a full recovery, stating:
“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.”
Flair’s health in the past few years has been well documented as in 2017 he was put into a medically induced coma for 11 days after his intestine ruptured. Flair celebrated his 70th birthday earlier this year in a huge bash attended by many celebrities and fellow wrestlers.
