Indy wrestling star Rich Swann has been confirmed as the latest signing for the WWE following weeks of speculation.
Confirmation comes from Revolution Pro Wrestling, via Facebook:
Unfortunately due to commitments with WWE Rich Swann has had to pull out of his advertised appearances in two weeks time at Broxbourne Civic Hall & Southampton Guildhall respectively. We wish Rich Swann all the best and thank him for some of the most memorable moments in RevPro over the past few years.
Rich first had his WWE tryout in 2014 and it had been rumoured for the past few days that he had signed on September 1st. At only 24, and having his pro wrestling debut in 2008, Rich comes into WWE/NXT with worldwide experience in Dragon Gate, Evolve, Rev Pro and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, holding championships in numerous places.
Rich is one of the better guys on the independent scene at the moment, and has an arsenal full of flashy moves including his standing 450 splash.
He will report to the Performance Center in the next 2 weeks.
