One of British women’s wrestling’s brightest stars is now on the sidelines with a serious injury.
Sierra Loxton suffered a severe back injury during a Pro Wrestling EVE event this weekend. During her match with Nightshade, the match was stopped after Loxton took a nasty bump.
Loxton tweeted an update on Sunday saying she due to undergo a CT scan on her back, and then later on confirmed that she has broken a bone in her lumbar, requiring urgent surgery.
A fractured lumbar bone takes a minimum of three months to heal, so ‘The Freaky Princess’ will be out for the majority of 2019.
Referee Chris Roberts set up a GoFundMe to assist Loxton with her medical issues.
