Arrow’s Stephen Amell put his differences to one side with WWE Superstar Stardust, as they both presented the outstanding final amount of $297,557 raised for their Summerslam limited edition t-shirt to Emily’s House charity, in Toronto, CA.

    After putting in what can only be described as amazing performance at WWE Summerslam, Arrow’s Stephen Amell had more than just winning on his mind that night. His limited edition t-shirt has raised an outstanding amount of money for the Toronto based children’s hospice, and they went that extra step further by going in person to give them the huge cheque.

    Amell took to his Facebook page to say the following;

    Sometimes you need to put your differences aside for a good cause. So today… Stardust and I presented Emily’s House in Toronto with a check for $297,557 and helped open the Dream Space Playroom in memory of Oliver “Odd Sock Ollie” Muirhead. Can’t really put into words what a special morning this was. The people who work and volunteer and Emily’s House are actual real life superheroes. The Muirhead family should know that their Son left a wonderful impression. And forgive the break in character for a moment, but Cody Rhodes is one of the most selfless, genuine human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. What a day. SA

    In the build up to Summerslam it was announced that Amell was so touched by the work of Toronto based Children’s Hospice, Emily’s House, and that he was going to make a limited edition t-shirt for his match against Stardust. In particular it was to help open the Dream Space in memory of Ollie ‘Odd Sock Ollie’ Muirhead, which would be available with all proceeds going direct to the charity. As the Twitter wars began, Stardust put his pride on the line, stating that he would deliver the cheque in person for the final amount, if 10,000 shirts were sold. True to their word, as the orders exceeded 10,000, the two met up to deliver this outstanding donation of $297,557.
