Former WWE Superstar announced by NWA World Champion Nick Aldis.
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Stu Bennett will officially be a part of the National Wrestling Alliance commentary team, as revealed on NWA Powerrr this week.
At the end of the show, World Champion Nick Aldis revealed a man will be joining Joe Galli that is ‘good news to a few, but to many, he is bad news’ before revealing a photo of the former Wade Barrett.
He is set to make his debut at their PPV event, Into The Fire.
Bennett has been mostly out of the wrestling scene since he WWE departure in 2016. He provided commentary and was General Manager for WCPW/DEFIANT Wrestling and was a part of World of Sport’s revival again in the commentary position. He also appeared at the end of season 4 of Lucha Underground, as ‘The Lord’.
Bennett is replacing Jim Cornette, who was fired from the NWA after insensitive comments made on commentary.
