Former ECW Champion and WWE Commentator Has Appeared on AEW Dark
Taz has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling, inking a multi-year deal.
The company shared a video on Thursday of Cody, Vice President of Business Strategy Chris Harrington and Taz signing the contract backstage at Bash at the Beach.
The ECW legend’s first appearance in AEW took place back in October as a guest commentator for AEW Dark and with Dark becoming a second show on TNT following AEW extending their deal to 2023, Taz will be joining the now extended broadcast team.
Taz took to Twitter earlier in the day to announce that his podcast ‘Taz Show” will be on hold, fueling speculation he had made the move to AEW.
Tazz commentated in WWE from 2002 until 2009, primarily on the SmackDown but also with WWECW. He also was behind the commentary booth for TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling until 2015.
