Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced that he has retired from wrestling.

    One of the most beloved characters from the Attitude Era, the Brahma Bull revealed his decision on Live With Kelly and Ryan while promoting his new movie.

    Once the most electrifying man in sports entertainment; now one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood, he stated:

    “I quietly retired from wrestling because I was lucky enough to have just a really wonderful career and accomplish what I wanted to accomplish.”

    The 47-year-old began wrestling in 1995 before signing with the WWE in 1996, debuting at the Survivor Series. In his illustrious career, Johnson was an eight-time WWF/WWE Champion, a two time World Heavyweight Champion, a two-time Intercontinental Champion,a five-time WWF/WWE Tag Team Champion and a Royal Rumble winner.
