205 LIVE SUPERSTAR AND FORMER CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION TJP AND WWE HAVE COME TO TERMS ON THE SUPERSTAR’S RELEASE.
TJP, real name Theodore James Perkins, has been wrestling since 1998, competing all over the world before his current stint with WWE.
In 2009 TJP first appeared for the company, once on RAW and then facing Sheamus in an ECW match. It would be another 7 years before he would be seen in a WWE ring again.
On the 20th of July 2016, TJP entered the Cruiserweight Classic, defeating Da Mack, and keeping his winning streak going all the way to the September 14th finales, beating Gran Metalik and becoming the new champion in what was a reborn division.
