We may only be a few short weeks away from WrestleMania 34, but today WWE made an announcement for the home of next years extravaganza.

    WWE held a press conference to announce that MetLife Stadium in the New York/New Jersey area will be the home of WrestleMania 35 in just over a years time.

    WWE C.O.O Triple H, Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, Ronda Rousey, John Cena, The New Day, Nikki Bella and many others were all in attendance for the announcement, which sees “The Grandest Stage Of Them All” return to their East Coast home, and the scenes of WrestleMania 29.

    New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said on the event returning to MetLife:

    “We are thrilled to bring WrestleMania, one of the biggest sports and entertainment events in the world, to MetLife Stadium. We look forward to a phenomenal week of activities that will strengthen our economy.”

    This means that not only does WrestleMania return to the New York/New Jersey area, this means that the Hall of Fame, NXT TakeOver and the Raw and SmackDown’s after ‘Mania will be held in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

    WWE Chairman and C.E.O Vince McMahon also spoke on this announcement:

    “On behalf of everyone at WWE, we thank Governor Murphy and all of our partners for bringing WrestleMania back home. It is the one place that matches the energy, excitement and spectacle of WrestleMania.”

    They also revealed the logo for this event, which will be held on Sunday April 7th, 2019.
