WWE have announced that the 37th Wrestlemania will be held in Inglewood, Los Angeles on the 28th March, 2021.

“On behalf of everyone at WWE, we are excited to bring WrestleMania back to Los Angeles.”

    – Vince McMahon

The under construction SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, soon to be home to the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, is mooted to host The Showcase Of The Immortals, with a mooted maximum capacity of 100,000. Other events the venue are due to host include Super Bowl LVI in 2022 and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Olympics.

This is the first Mania to be held in the first quarter of a year since 2015, and Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. seemed excited for his city to be hosting the Granddaddy Of Them All:

“WrestleMania brings excitement and is followed by almost every age demographic. With the scheduling of this marquee event, we can say without contradiction, the only thing that has changed in Inglewood is…everything.”

The Los Angeles area will host the whole week of WWE events, including WWE Axxess, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT TakeOver and the Hall of Fame, as well as the Monday Night Raw after Mania.

TWM Wrestling will bring you any developments with this and any other wrestling news as we get it.
