Overnight, news broke of more WWE staff releases, and some big names were included.
Sarah Stock, formerly known a Sarita in Impact Wrestling, was released by WWE in the latest round of cost-cutting measures, according to Sean Sapp of Fightful.com. Legendary Mike Rotunda was also released. The man who played Irwin R. Shyster – and is the father of Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, had been a producer/agent since 2006.
Stock had been on furlough since May, according to several sources, while Rotunda’s releases follows that of Gerald Brisco earlier this week.
Also being let go, was writer Anthony Benigno. He was the co-writer, host and producer of “WWE Head to Head” on YouTube.
