With multiple main roster stars returning to NXT in the past twelve months, namely Finn Balor, Drake Maverick, Charlotte Flair for a stint, Breezango and Killian Dain, there’s a question of if any other RAW or SmackDown stars should take their talents to Wednesday nights. Here is a list of five wrestlers who I think should go to NXT.
Andrade Cien
With it being five years since the beginning of Andrade’s debut in NXT, I believe that returning to NXT would give his career a fresh new start. In recent months, Andrade has been paired up with Angel Garza, but, with that team splitting up back in October, Andrade hasn’t really done much of note since that time. Having Andrade return to Wednesday nights could make the NXT Championship picture very interesting.
He’s a former NXT Champion himself, it wouldn’t be so far-fetched to think that Cien could once again hold the NXT Championship. A match with current NXT Champion Finn Balor is definitely one that could headline a few TakeOver’s if WWE decides to put them into a rivalry. With no partner or manager, Andrade could enter into top rivalries with a few people on the yellow brand, with names such as Finn Balor, The Undisputed Era, Damian Priest and even Karrion Kross just waiting for a chance to shine. There’s even a chance of a partnership or friendship with interim Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar. There are many opportunities for Andrade to shine back on NXT that he hasn’t been able to do on the main roster.
