Wrestling has made another impact on wider culture tonight, as Dictionary.com have added “jabroni” to their defined words.
It comes amongst their biggest update ever. They defined the word as:
1. Slang stupid, foolish, or contemptible person; loser.
2. Also called en·hance·ment tal·ent [en-hans-muhnt tal-uhnt], job·ber [job-er] .Professional Wrestling. a wrestler whose purpose is to lose matches against headlining wrestlers in order to build up the status and fame of the headliners.
This is not the first time wrestling – or even a phrase that The Rock popularised – has made an impact on the dictionary. “Smackdown” has been a previous entry.
