Saudi Olympian and Silver Medal Winner Tareg Hamedi were involved at WWE Crown Jewel, delivering a swift quick to Mustafi Ali after his match against Mansoor.

Earlier in the day, Hamedi was in the ring working out with Mansoor, Mustafa Ali and referee Charles Robinson this morning as Ali and Mansoor went over their match. It’s possible that Hamedi will get involved in that bout with hometown star Mansoor.

Tareg Hamedi won a Silver medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics, which actually took place this year to a delay from the COVID-19 pandemic. Hamedi competed in the 75kg kilogram division of Kumite.

Mansoor vs. Mustafa Ali was booked at this year’s WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:

Ali got on the early offence and beat him down for the majority of the match including a spot where Ali ripped the apron skirt underneath Mansoor and he landed back first on the apron. Mansoor made a brief comeback and went for an outside dive, but was taken out.

Ali missed a dive off the top rope, but Mansoor moved and tossed Ali into the corner. Mansoor hit a moonsault for a near fall. Mansoor got to the bottom rope when Ali put him in a submission hold. Mansoor went over with his finisher.

Post-match, Ali attacked Mansoor. Saudi Arabian Olympic athlete Tareg Hamedi came out and kicked Ali in the head.
