After Bad Bunny won the title, Truth had almost no hope of winning back the 24/7 Championship back since Damian Priest was at the Champion’s side at all times. It was near impossible for Truth to win back the title. However, after a month of trying to sneak up on Bad Bunny, R-Truth finally got what he wanted. On the March 15 episode of Raw, The Grammy-winning artist gifted the 24/7 Championship to R-Truth because he respected Truth’s love for the belt and also wanted to get his hands on some Stone Cold merch. So in short, the 24/7 Championship was exchanged for a replica belt and a lunchbox. Anyways, it allowed Truth to become the FIRST EVER FIFTY-TIME 24/7 CHAMPION.

Truth held on to the title for almost a week until Fastlane. At the event, R-Truth was hiding from Akira Tozawa behind a shelf stocked with Old Spice Deodorant Sticks. Tozawa came looking for him and encountered an Old Spice salesperson named Joe Average who was trying to give Tozawa free samples. Tozawa wasn’t having any of it and pulled R-Truth from behind the shelf toppling the entire tower of Deodorants. Amidst this chaos that was ushered by Truth and Tozawa, Joe attempted to bring some order by gathering the deodorants but he inadvertently pinned R-Truth for the three-count hence making Joe Average (Rik Bugez) the 24/7 Champion.

By this point, R-Truth had become the true ultimate opportunist after capitalizing on as many chances as he could get to win the 24/7 Championship week after week. Thus, Truth diligently rolled up Joe from Old Spice and became the FIRST EVER FIFTY-ONE-TIME 24/7 CHAMPION.
